BILLABONG X SINCERELY JULES

The essence of this intoxicating collaboration with Billabong has given so much to my world. The shoot was an adventure paradise in motion. Being able to experience the designs in the beautiful landscape of Mexico with the Billabongentourage, exceeded all of my expectations. The scenery and the whole energy of the campaign enriched me in such a powerful way, that it’s hard to put into words.

My fear of the ocean was something I never knew how to conquer. It was always there, and I really wanted to overcome it, I just didn’t know-how. Having professional surfer Laura Enaver by my side was a great start! She’s a talented woman who is beautiful inside and out. When I allowed myself to just be present in the ocean, my fears melted away. Laura’s chemistry and confidence with the water are contagious and taking that first step with her was amazing.

I have a whole new relationship with the sea.

I always feel at home breathing the salty air and soaking up all the elements and offerings of the beach. To wear this collection in the beautiful environment that inspired it, brought everything full circle. I hope you enjoy it as much as I loved making it!

Here are a few of my favorite things:

The twist flirt jumper! It has everything from the laid-back silhouette of the palazzo combined with a feminine bandeau tie top to flatter the bust. This look can wear day or night, paired with the keep it simple bag or the catching rays hat and your favorite sandals.

The sailing Sundays button-up is another staple of mine that I love to throw on over my Dos Palmas one piece in a sea shell. It is a versatile piece that can be worn, tied up with the perfect boy denim skirt.

For the dresses, I wanted to expand on the idea of the basic beach dress. I wanted to work with the concept of “throw on” and keep simplicity, but I also wanted something that could be worn with a statement earring or kicked up with a slightly dressier shoe for an evening resort look.

The lover's wish dress is a dreamy piece that is flattering for all figures. Those bell sleeves are perfect for the days when you’ve had a little too much sun, or when the temperature drops a bit at night. The shoulder sway maxi and the high point slip are both pieces that are multifaceted. I love the high point slip after a swim or at night with a low bun and some delicate jewelry.

The whole collection came together so beautifully that it is so hard to choose a favorite! I love all the pieces so much and I can’t wait to hear which ones you love!

Don't Be Afraid To Mix and Match Your Favorite Neutrals

I absolutely love monochromatic neutral looks, but I also love mixing and matching different neutral shades in the same outfit. I think one of the reasons why I am so fond of neutral colors is because they are so easy to wear. With other colors, you have to be mindful of your color combos, but neutral shades always look good together!

Typically, I like to add a splash of color to my neutral looks via accessories, like in today’s post example. A neon yellow bag adds a bright element to this otherwise entirely monochrome look. Love that!

Linking to a few favorite neutral staples below. As you can see you can easily mix and match these pieces. If monochrome is the look you prefer, the below pieces will look absolutely gorgeous together. Quick tip: try pairing your neutral outfits with a bright lipstick to add a bit of freshness and drama to your look.

However, if you prefer to mix and match your neutrals and experiment with different colors and shades, the below tops will look absolutely gorgeous paired with any of the above bottoms. Like I said, neutrals are super easy to style!
