GOOD FOR THE GLOBE WITH BLOOMINGDALES

Happy first day of Spring! Its finally been feeling like spring here in the Bay Area, with the amazing weather that we have been having the past few days. This past weekend was simply glorious and Anush and I had to step outdoors and drive over to check out the superbloom of wildflowers along the Northern California coast.

I am super excited to be partnering with Bloomingdales for such a wonderful cause in their Good for the Globe campaign. Just in time for Earth Month next month, the Good for the Globe Carousel on their site right now is a rotating pop-up shop which features a curated assortment of eco-friendly and socially conscious products ranging from garments made from recyclable materials to products with proceeds that benefit meaningful causes. All these sustainable pieces essentially “do good for the globe” and help reduce, reuse and recycle in style! Aside from some of my fave sustainable brands featured in the pop up shop, I also found these cool products that are so rad and sustainable too – like the Bureo skateboards made from recycled fishing nets , portable stainless steel straws from The Final Straw, Nomadix 4-in-1 towel made from recycled plastic bottles and more.

One of my long time favorite brands for many years has been Faithfull the Brand not only cos of their gorgeous wanderlust worthy pieces but also cos of their ethical and sustainable practices. Bloomingdales has so many new arrivals from this brand – I picked out this floral spring sundress which was so perfect for going wildflower hunting in the Bay. The ditsy floral spring is so pretty and I love the flirty details like the arm ties. The mustard flower fields was seriously a sight to behold! There were endless fields of gold in every direction and I couldn’t think of a better way to ring in the new season of Spring than this! If you are local, I highly recommend you check out the superbloom along the Norcal coast – these fields were right on Highway 1 near Half Moon Bay. There are also plenty of wildflowers along Highway 1 from Santa Cruz to Davenport.

Check out my other fave sustainable pieces in the carousel below from the Bloomingdales Good for the Globe campaign. My other beloved sustainable brands that are part of this amazing pop up shop are Mikoh (swimwear), Levis (denim) and more.

Here are my other sustainable and mindful picks in each category :
