EMBROIDERED LEATHER JACKET

EMBROIDERED LEATHER JACKET

I am so so excited to share this blog post with you guys today because these embroidered leather jackets have been restocked in all sizes! I am wearing an X-small. What I love most about this jacket is that it’s a timeless piece. It will last you forever and goes with everything! You can even wear it in the summer for a fun night out!

The second thing I love about this jacket is the fit. It is a tailored jacket so it fits you body in all the right spots. All too often leather jackets are too bulky and you feel large. This one is still small and tapered!

I hope you guys have a good week and have some fun weekend plans! I will also be sharing a post today or my Top 20 Picks left from the sale!

MY MORNING ROUTINE AND HEALTHY RECIPES!

MY MORNING ROUTINE AND HEALTHY RECIPES!

Happy Wednesday all! Am I the only one who absolutely loves to buy workout clothes but wears the same ones I bought years and years ago?! I don’t know what it is but I’ve started to break that habit! It is no secret that I am in love with Zella work out clothes! This Zella sports bra is extremely comfortable and does the job of holding you in! Also these high wasted leggings and so soft and hold their shape even after being washed. Another Zella favorite of mine is this light weight training jacket which is perfect to wear before or after your workout because it does not make you too hot! These Adidas sneakers are seriously some of the most comfy sneakers I have ever worn. They fit like a glove on your foot, plus they are super cute and come in pink!! And these Karen Walker sunnies are juts no go to glasses and I always have them with me. I am a firm believer that wearing a cute workout outfit can totally make your workout so much better!!

I have been getting quite a few questions about my workout routine as well as yummy snacks and recipes that are my favorite! Let me first start out by saying how important it is to take care of your body. Being a mommy of two, I have to make sure I have plenty of energy to tackle my days and take care of my little ones! I really started to find a passion for working out when I realized how much energy it gave me throughout my days. I wrote down my workout routine in the mornings and went through step by step form waking up to working out! This is a routine that is perfect for me and my life!

MY ROUTINE

  1. The night before I make it a point to lay out my workout clothes for the next morning and put my running shoes on the treadmill! It sounds silly but this makes a huge difference in my mornings.

  2. My babies are early risers and usually get up around 6:30 or 7 (I know, super early!) But it gets me up and gets my day started early! As soon as we are all up, we usually grab some breakfast like peanut butter or avocado toast and Mase and Rosey love to watch some of their favorite shows in the morning.

  3. I drink a full glad of water which really helps me wakeup!

  4. I love love loveeeee the Crystal Light packets with caffeine. They come in tons of flavors and I put one packet in my water bottle and drink that before and throughout my workout.

  5. The babies and I head downstairs  where we keep all of our workout equipment. I run and do cardio on the treadmill for 30 minutes a day. I do variations of running, jogging and hill climbing.

  6. For my arms, I use small weights around 5lbs and do a few more reps. I’ve found this works best for me. I use 5 pound weights and then workout my abs by doing crunches and sit ups.

I have found that consistency is the key with my morning workouts! I really love how I feel after I get a good workout in. My days are so much better and I am in such a better mood! I do try (EMPHASIZE on try) to eat super healthy throughout the day, whether that is peanut butter and apples, avocado toast, nuts, and or salad! Also, staying hydrated in super important. I keep a water bottle with me at all times so I am not tempted by Diet Coke! One of my favorite yummy drinks to order is the Starbucks Green Tea with no water. It is so tasty and refreshing! Next time you go to Starbucks, try it! I promise you’ll love it. You can also add sweetener which makes it extra yummy.

I have noticed that I am not a good dieter at all. I do not like to limit myself of what I can and cannot eat. I find that so much harder than using self control and eating in moderation. I truly eat whatever I want but I do not over indulge on one thing. Portion control is so important, especially if you are like me and do not want to give up some of your favorite foods. For dinners, I really like to make meals that the whole family can enjoy! Lucky for me Mason and Rosie aren’t too picky of eaters but they do have their favorites! I listed two of my favorite recipes that are quick and easy dinner ideas.

RECIPES

  1. Roasted broccoli– Heat the oven to 425F, spread broccoli onto a cooking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, add salt and pepper (as much or as little as you’d like), bake for 15-20 minutes! Super tasty and a great side for steak or chicken.

  2. Steak salad with vinaigrette dressing (I use olive oil and Trader Joe’s balsamic glaze on top) spring lettuce mix, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, and bleu cheese. Cut steak into stripes and places on top. This takes about 20 minutes to make and is such a crowd pleaser. One of our family favorites!

I am a HUGEEE snacker, guilty! And who can’t resist sweet treats every now and then?! I love to pack snacks and put them in my purse or in the car so that there is always something for me of the babies to grab if we get hungry on the go. I listed some of my favorite snack and tasty treats!! Don’t be surprised.. of course ice cream made the list!! YUM!

SNACKS

Mixed

Fruit

Crunch Protein bars

Fruit strips from Costco

Beef Jerkey

Edamame

TREATS

Goldfish

Peanut butter cookies with a Hershey kiss on top

Chocolate chip cookies

Ice cream (Cold Stone Cake Batter with Snickers or Reece’s mixed in)

I RECENTLY STARTED TAKING A MULTI VITAMIN ON TOP OF VITAMIN C THAT I HAVE REALLY BEEN LIKING. IT IS HARD FOR ME TO REMEMBER ANOTHER STEP IN MY DAY BUT I LEAVE THESE VITAMINS BY MY CRYSTAL LIGHT PACKETS SO THAT I REMEMBER TO TAKE THEM EVERYDAY!

VITAMINS

Multi-Women vitamin-pack from Costco

My whole purpose for working out and eating healthy(ish) is to take care of my body and have the energy to keep up with my littles. I always work hard to be the best momma for them. My mood during the day is always instantly better when I get my sweat in, I feel like I have accomplished a huge to-do in my day. I hope you were able to find a few new ideas for recipes or workouts to fit into your daily routine. Again, this is what works best for me, it is not a perfect plan for everyone. Find what works for you and go for it!

I have linked my outfit details below and message or email me for sizing or more information! XO

5 NEUTRAL FALL STAPLES

Top: BP {only $25 + such a closet staple for Fall/Winter} | Skirt: Ganni {old, similar here + here for less than $100} | Handbag: Sèzane | Booties: Stuart Weitzman | Hat: Genie by Eugenia Kim | Necklace: Vintage Chanel {exact here}

TGIF, babes

We officially made it to the weekend!  Our week has been crazy moving + unpacking, but with things slowly feeling back to normal, my heart is SO happy.  Another weekend in the works spent working on the house + yard and I’m so exited about it!  That’s how you know you’re really an adult – when buying and planting bushes in the front yard makes you happy.  Haha.  What are you guys up to this weekend?

As the weather is slowly cooling down in preparation for Fall, I’m transitioning my closet piece by piece.  Since I only wear neutrals most of the time, I have quite a few staple pieces that will easily take me right into Fall – and won’t break the bank.  Here are FIVE closet staples you need for cooler weather:

1. A large, black tote.  If you’re anything like me, you throw ALL of your daily life necessities into one big bag.  A black tote is such a closet staple, but especially one that’s functional.  The gold detailing on this tote is my favorite!  {Options herehere, + here}

2. Upping your miniskirt game.  I’ve made this a priority over the last few weeks, because miniskirts are so functional for Fall.  You can easily throw them on with anything from a t-shirt to a turtleneck, sneakers or booties.  {Options hereherehere, + here}

3. A classic, white top.  This long sleeve tee is my favorite for so many reasons.  It’s long, fitted, comfortable, and only $25.  You can’t beat it!  It also comes in 3 colors and I have to admit, I have them all.  Perfect for layering literally ANY outfit this Fall!  Let’s be serious – no other options needed.

4. Black booties.  A staple pair of black booties is so important to your accessory game.  I purchased this pair during the NSALE and they’re so comfortable!  Not only do I love the easy, chic vibe they give off, but they will literally go with almost any outfit.  When I’m investing in a more expensive handbag or pair of shoes that’s seasonal, I always make sure it checks off three boxes: comfort, classic, and versatility.  {Options herehere, + here}

5. A chic hat.  Or three!  This ‘fisherman’ style hat has seriously been one of my favorite trends for a long time and I’m so happy to see them come back in style with a bang.  As I was cleaning out my closet in preparation for moving, I found 2-3 hats really similar to this style from high school!  It’s always been one of my go-to’s (remember the Devil Wears Prada killer outfit with this style hat + layered Chanel necklace?  ALL the praise hands.) and this one is so perfect! {Options herehere, + here}

Thanks so much for stopping by and cheers to the weekend!  x.

WANDERLUST WEDNESDAY: DESIGN HAVEN IN EAST HAMPTON

While I typically dream of jetting off to far flung places, right now I simply wish I could take a quick jaunt to the east coast to check out the pop-up of one of my favorite retailers of all time – The Line. They’ve set up (temporary) shop in the idyllic  hamlet of Amagansett in East Hampton, New York. I not only want to visit, I want to move right in.

Like The Apartments—The Line’s permanent locations in New York City and Los Angeles—the new store is another opportunity to discover The Line’s carefully considered selection of fashion, home, and beauty items in the context of a home – this time beach-side. Located just blocks from the ocean in a white clapboard structure that dates to 1720, the Amagansett location is the ultimate sophisticate’s beach “cottage.” I’m using that term very lightly as the interiors feel like anything but.

Brands featured include Acne Studios, Altuzarra, Calvin Klein Collection, Khaite, Manolo Blahnik, Oliver Peoples, Protagonist; Ash NYC, Flos, Fritz Hansen, Gabriel Scott, Skultuna, and Tenfold New York; Grown Alchemist, Maison Louis Marie, and Sunday Riley.

The space features all kinds of design classics like vintage Børge Mogensen daybeds, a Luteca Air Sofa, a pair of Committee chairs by Pierre Jeanneret and art by Helmut Newton and Ruth Bernhard.

In keeping with the intimate shopping experience The Line has cultivated, the pop-up will offer a range of complimentary services such as wardrobe styling, interior design consulting, gift/wedding registries and personal shopping. The space will also host a Beach Reads lending library, inviting guests to take and/or leave a book by Danielle Steel (mother of The Line‘s executive creative director, Vanessa Traina). Love that touch.

I’ve always loved The Line’s unique concept of shopping in context. You’re really able to craft an entire lifestyle from their vision. This is certainly the chicest beach house I’ve ever seen. I’m already eyeing pieces I want to incorporate into our house!

The Line – Amagansett (154 Main Street) is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m & special store events will be announced throughout the summer. Anyone want to go to the Hamptons with me?!
